Who we are . . .

Queen of Angels Cooperative Academy is a Catholic homeschool initiative that meets weekly to engage in the monastic scholé tradition. The word scholé (pronounced skoh-LAY) comes from a Greek word that means “restful learning,” with the connotation of “contemplation,” “conversation,” and “reflection.” We seek to provide a rigorous and continual curriculum that embodies a strong Catholic identity and encourages an abundant and cohesive complementary education through the Charlotte Mason and Classical Liberal Arts Traditions. We serve the Diocese of Gary, northwest Indiana, and surrounding communities.
